Privacy Policy

How Doia handles your data — in plain language, without the legal maze.

Last updated: 16 July 2026

The short version

Doia does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal detail to use our tools. Almost every calculator on this site runs entirely inside your browser — the numbers you type never reach our servers at all. We do use Google AdSense to show advertising, and Google sets cookies as part of that. That is the main way third-party data collection happens here, and it is explained in full below.

What we collect directly

Essentially nothing that identifies you. We do not operate user accounts, mailing lists, or contact forms that store submissions. The values you enter into our calculators — your portfolio size, your salary, your trade details — are processed in your browser's memory and discarded the moment you close the tab. They are never transmitted to us, never logged, and never stored. A small number of tools fetch live market data (exchange rates, gas prices, blockchain data) from third-party APIs. These requests send only what is needed to get the data — a currency pair, for example. They do not include anything about you.

Cookies and Google AdSense

This site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on Doia. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website. If you would prefer no cookies at all, you can block them in your browser settings — every tool on this site will continue to work normally.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are used and which pages are visited. This tells us that a calculator was opened — not who opened it. We do not build user profiles, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share any data with anyone.

Third-party data sources

Some tools rely on external APIs to provide live information: • Exchange rates and currency data • Blockchain data, including gas prices and block height • YouTube public video and channel statistics, via the official YouTube Data API When you use one of these tools, a request is made to the relevant service. Those services have their own privacy policies and may log the request according to their own practices. We do not pass any personal information to them.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing for us to delete, export, or correct on your behalf. If you are in the EU, UK, or another region with data protection legislation, and you believe we hold data about you, write to us and we will respond. In practice, the answer is almost always that we hold nothing. Regarding advertising cookies set by Google, those are controlled by Google. Use the opt-out links above, or clear cookies in your browser at any time.

Children

Doia is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please get in touch and we will look into it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how data is handled, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted clearly rather than buried. Continuing to use Doia after a change means you accept the updated policy.
